Dr Paul Ekman authored and approved intensive three-day workshop type training programme, drawing from cutting edge behavioral science and solid research in the field of psychology of emotions.


It provides participants with practical tools, skills and competencies to evaluate verbal and non-verbal communications from others.

The course curriculum covers the knowledge, understanding, skills and application of emotional skills.This Paul Ekman approved core course is designed to:

  • help you become fully aware of your own emotions;
  • provide you with tools to manage your own emotions;
  • teach you to read emotions in others;
  • give you tools and skills to manage emotions of others;

Based on Dr Ekman’s science and leading edge training methodology you will:

  • learn to use the emotional timeline from trigger… to impulse… to action to understand the challenges and master skills around emotional awareness through the process;
  • develop your skills in correct reading of true emotions in others which will help you build and maintain constructive, successful relationships;
  • learn how to read facial expressions, plus the other four channels that we need to stay attentive to in others if we want to know what they are really saying: body language, voice, verbal style and the actual words spoken/written – verbal content.

Safe yet stimulating and intensive learning environment provides excellent platform to learn, practice and internalize these important skills, with the leadership and supervision from Paul Ekman Approved Trainers.

The course finishes with the post test and graded Certificate of Competence will be awarded to you on completion.

  • All course materials and workbooks will be provided (no laptops needed);
  • Light morning refreshments and lunch on each day included;
  • Accommodation is not included in the training costs;
  • Some evening work and pre course reading will be necessary;

Cancellation charges will apply if you cancel after booking.

You can change to a later course in exceptional circumstances as long as the course is attended within 6 months of the date of the course, at any of Krapivin Group course locations.
